Local Santa Scheme : Sunday 2 December : The Public Ask
We pitched up in traditional fashion to ask shoppers in the Belfry whether or not they would be willing to buy a gift for a local child in need.
These Christmas Wishes had already been gathered by personal visits to the children in refuge & temporary accommodation.
Project Coordinator Karen Neil pictured here had a lovely load of volunteers with her to do the asking & wrap the gifts.
SO many thanks to Rosie, Robyn, Emeline & Carolanne & our gift-wrappers extraordinaire Lyn, Libby & Emma ( those presents looked SO gorgeous )
This year we delivered 59 gifts in a day to the children in Reigate & Banstead Woman's aid refuge & Raven Housing Temporary Accomodation & teens @ Wayside Hostel.
