Fab & Full On @ our Foodbank on Saturday 17h Nov
Week 6 since our Foodbank opening saw our busiest session yet.
19 people including children & elderly received food they desperately needed at Saturday's session.
We were also very heartened by the fact that everyone felt comfy enough to sit & have a cuppa & a chat.
It actually felt like a busy little cafe for most of the session. Included amongst the feedback in our guest book was this by Lorraine
"Lovely & kind people, I felt as ease as soon as I got here, as I don't go out & mix & accepting charity is hard but they made me feel at ease about it".
iSo fantastic to read that and others like it whw we were packing away. Thanks to fab volunteers like Carol, Libby, Anuska, Pam, Di, Jaime, Emma & a load more for helping to make this great project possible.
