Jack's Story : Daring to be different
Happily surrounded by many snowy-haired ladies each week on our Christmas card-making for the elderly is Jack who discovered he had a creative streak very late in life.
In his younger years he was in the Navy & he told us that some us his old navy buddies gave him a bit of a ribbing when they learned he had "gone arty" but he didn't let that stop him.
These days he has several of his own paintings hanging on his walls at home & he says he spends ages looking at the changing patterns in the sky wondering how to capture it in paint.
It took him by surprise that he was able to paint at all
"You never know what you can do till you try do you?" he said.
