Generosity breeds generosity...

Back in action after a near fatal heart attack Chris and his wife Dawn re-visit our Foodbank but this time to donate food !
After Chris came out of hospital he was still unable to work and the benefits he was entitled to came nowhere near to matching what his wage had been.
With 5 teenage & adult children still at home Dawn had tried everything to economise but they were still short to the point of not being able to afford to get the family food shop.
They were referred to us for emergency supplies. At the time Dawn said that visiting our Foodbank was like having family to turn to & it was wonderful for us to see her back with happy smiles in place of those worry lines we had seen before. She looked like a different person.
She had always said that she would be back with supplies once they were back on their feet. We said there was no need - our Foodbank stock is an unconditional gift from those who are kind enough to give it - but it was still very heart-warming to see the generosity returned.
