The Cuppa Tea Club : First of many...
Absolutely the best feeling ever to see these smiley faces leaving the Arkle Manor in the Age Concern bus after our very first Cuppa Tea Club.
Inspired by the distress we saw on the faces of these ladies at the pampering day in October over the closure of their Redhill centre we put our heads together with Vince from the Arkle Manor who kindly agreed to allow Loveworks to start the Cuppa Tea Club : a monthly get together for all these isolated elderly who rely on the kindness of others to get out & about.
Our mission will be to make them feel as valued as special as they dieserve to feel & it was music to our ears when Brenda ( age 92 ) said on leaving "We are not invisible to you"
