Project News : Thursday 15th March : Pyjama Party for Homeless Teens

When we were putting up the Christmas Tree with the girls living at Wayside House it was the idea of a pyjama party that made their eyes light up.
As a rule they are not allowed to bring their duvets into the communal lounge but at the Pyjama party everyone snuggled up under their duvets to watch a childhood favourite movie, eat and drink all the food and treats on their wish list which Loveworks volunteers had shopped for with chats and games thrown in.
What the girls said ....

"It was really good. I think we should do it again.
Thanks for Wally  Thanks for my kebab Woop Woop x" Mel

"It's been a really really hard week. I've been feeling like I just wanted to end it all. I wasn't going to come but I did and its taken my mind of everything. I've literally never had this kind of thing given to me before" Stacey

"It was really nice of you guys to do this for us.
I've enjoyed the night spending it with the girls and doing girlie things so thank you"
