Saturday 10th December PROJECT NEWS - Christmas Bag Scheme
Saturday was Stupendous !!
Thanks to the wonderful generosity of Marks and Spencer customers in Redhill and Reigate who spent £3,205 in one day !! and the time given by Loveworks.org volunteers Mike, Georgina, Jackie, Maggie, Evie, Naomi, James, Geoff, Jane, Diane, Andy, Cora, June, Bonnie, Andrea and Claire we will be able to provide 139 Christmas Bags to local families in need struggling to afford Christmas this year.
Also there will be 30 gifts for the local homeless men who use the drop in centre in Redhill.
This year the bags have been given to families using the following agencies Welcare, ESDAS, RBWA, Salvation Army, Merstem Community Facility, Wayside Keychange, Temporary Accomodation run by Raven Housing Trust.
Thank you to our amazing volunteers and every single person who donated items for the bags and special thanks to Julie and Matt - Marks and Spencer Managers of Reigate and Redhill respectively who very kindly donated the gift bags for us to use.
